CX · Agentic AI

AI your customers thank, not the bot they beg to escape

Agentic AI can resolve routine customer requests end to end, refunds, order status, account changes. We make it work for ANZ mid-market support teams, in the right order: process first, then automation, then AI.

Sound familiar?

You don’t need to automate a broken process to prove you’re doing AI.

1

Competitors are shipping AI support.

Their customers get answers at 2am. Yours get an auto-reply promising a response within two business days.

2

After-hours is a black hole.

Requests pile up overnight and through weekends, and Monday morning starts with an apology backlog.

3

“Speak to a human” is your most-clicked button.

The bot you have deflects, loops and frustrates. Customers fight past it, and it’s teaching them your company doesn’t listen.

What you walk away with

An honest readiness read, in writing.

Which customer requests AI can resolve today, which need process work first, and which should always reach a human, so you invest where customers feel it.

Routine requests resolved, not deflected.

Order status, returns, account updates handled start to finish, any hour, so customers get outcomes instead of links to the help centre.

Escalation designed before go-live.

When AI reaches its limits, the handoff carries the full conversation, so customers never repeat themselves or start over in a queue.

Numbers that tell the truth.

Resolution measured as customers experience it, not deflection dressed up as success, so you know whether the AI is helping or just hiding demand.

How we get you there

1

Assess what’s ready

We map your request types by volume, repeatability and customer risk. High-volume, low-judgement requests go first. Anything broken gets fixed before it gets automated.

2

Prepare the foundations

Clean categories, defined resolution steps, clear escalation rules. AI amplifies whatever it’s given, so what it’s given has to be right.

3

Automate the earned requests

Agentic AI switched on against the requests that qualified, resolving end to end, with the human handoff designed and tested before the first customer meets it.

4

Govern and expand

Every action logged, resolution and satisfaction reviewed against the numbers, and the next request types added as they earn it. Scope grows on evidence, not enthusiasm.

Our position

Why we do AI in this order

A common support AI failure starts the same way: a bot gets switched on in front of a process that was already letting customers down. We built National Pharmacies’ support operation to run 65+ locations without added headcount by getting the process right first, and that’s the same discipline we bring to AI. The order is the method: process, then automation, then AI.

Questions we get asked

Our customers hate the bot we have. Why would this be different?

Because the failure usually isn’t the bot, it’s what it was pointed at. Deflection bots answer around problems; agentic AI resolves the request or hands off with full context. And nothing goes live in front of customers until the escape hatch works better than the one you have now.

How is agentic AI different from a chatbot?

A traditional chatbot typically focuses on answering or deflecting requests. Agentic AI goes further: for eligible requests it interprets the request, performs the resolution steps, communicates the outcome and closes the conversation, escalating when human judgement is required. One deflects demand, the other resolves it.

Which customer requests should be automated first?

High volume, low judgement, clearly defined: order status, returns eligibility, account updates, appointment changes. The assessment ranks your actual queue, and your own data usually makes the first candidates obvious.

What stops the AI saying something it shouldn’t to a customer?

Scope is defined before go-live: what it can action, what it can say, what always goes to a human. Every conversation is logged and reviewable. The AI’s authority is a configuration decision you control, not a behaviour you hope for.

Will this replace support agents?

It removes repetitive work, not the people who handle it. Order lookups and routine updates consume capacity your team could spend on the conversations that keep customers, the complex, the frustrated, the about-to-leave. We measure the opportunity in hours returned to the team, not headcount removed.
