ITSM · Agentic AI
AI that resolves tickets, not a chatbot that deflects them
Agentic AI can triage, fulfil and close routine requests end to end. We make it work on ANZ mid-market service desks, in the right order: process first, then automation, then AI.
Sound familiar?
You don’t need to automate a broken process to prove you’re doing AI.
The board wants an AI answer.
“What’s our AI strategy?” has reached your service desk, and “we have a chatbot” isn’t going to survive the follow-up question.
Ticket volume grows. Headcount can’t.
The same requests arrive every day, password resets, access requests, standard software, and every one of them costs a human’s attention.
You tried a chatbot. Everyone hates it.
It answers questions nobody asked and escalates the ones it should handle. Your team bypasses it, and so do your users.
What you walk away with
An honest readiness read, in writing.
Which of your processes can carry AI today, which need work first, and which shouldn’t be automated at all, so you invest where it pays back.
Routine requests resolved end to end.
Password resets, access provisioning, standard requests handled from arrival to closure, so your team’s attention goes to the work that needs judgement.
Escalation that works.
AI that knows what it doesn’t know, and hands off with full context, so users never get stuck in a loop or start over with a human.
Governance you can stand behind.
What the AI can do, what it can’t, and an audit trail of every action it takes, so the answer to “what is the AI doing?” is never a shrug.
How we get you there
Assess what’s ready
We map your request types by volume, repeatability and risk. High-volume, low-judgement processes go first. Anything broken gets fixed before it gets automated.
Prepare the foundations
Clean categories, defined fulfilment steps, clear ownership. AI amplifies whatever it’s given, so what it’s given has to be right.
Automate the earned processes
Agentic AI switched on against the processes that qualified, resolving end to end, with escalation paths designed before go-live, not after the first failure.
Govern and expand
Every action logged, performance reviewed against the numbers, and the next processes added as they earn it. Scope grows on evidence, not enthusiasm.
Our position
Why we do AI in this order
A common service desk AI failure starts the same way: automation gets switched on before the underlying process is ready. We built National Pharmacies’ operation to run 65+ locations without added headcount by getting the process right first, and that’s the same discipline we bring to AI. The order is the method: process, then automation, then AI.
Questions we get asked
Can’t we just skip to the AI part?
You can, and it’s one of the fastest ways these projects go wrong. AI over a broken process automates the breakage, faster and at scale. The honest sequence is slower to start and much faster to pay off.
How is agentic AI different from the chatbot we already have?
A traditional chatbot typically focuses on answering or deflecting requests. Agentic AI goes further: for eligible requests it interprets the request, performs defined fulfilment actions, communicates the result and closes the ticket, escalating when human judgement is required. One deflects demand, the other resolves it.
Which requests should be automated first?
High volume, low judgement, clearly defined: password resets, access requests, standard software provisioning. The assessment ranks your actual queue, and the first candidates are usually obvious from your own data.
What about the risk of AI doing something it shouldn’t?
Scope is defined before go-live: what it can action, what needs approval, what always goes to a human. Every action is logged. The AI’s authority is a configuration decision you control, not a behaviour you hope for.
Will this replace service desk roles?
It removes repetitive work, not the people who handle it. Password resets, standard access requests and routine fulfilment consume capacity your team could spend on incidents, problems and work that needs judgement. We measure the opportunity in hours returned to the team, not headcount removed.
